Hi there.

I’m a writer and essayist based in Los Angeles, after spending a decade in San Francisco—by way of Utah.

My work explores the complexities of identity and cultural memory, with a particular focus on the visual arts, and often Black cultural expression. Increasingly, I’m expanding into stories that intersect with culture, lifestyle, and creative expression more broadly. I’m currently a contributing editor at Juxtapoz Magazine, and my writing has appeared in Elephant, ALTA Journal, The Cut, San Francisco Chronicle, Bylinebyline, and more.

Beyond editorial, I collaborate with museums, galleries, and institutions to craft essays and publications that deepen engagement with contemporary art and ideas. I’ve written for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, Stanford’s Cantor Arts Center, Stems Gallery, GNYP Gallery, MARUANI MERCIER, Night Gallery, and Marianne Ibrahim, among others.

I also lead strategic communications that champion artists and storytellers. I’m currently an Account Director at Sutton, a global arts communications agency. Previously, I served as Senior Manager of Communications at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.

Let me write for you.
